The IT Audit & Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that TIP’s technology and digital services environment operates securely, efficiently, and in line with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role includes conducting and managing internal and external audits across IT systems, digital platforms, and data environments, identifying control gaps, assessing risks, and recommending improvements. This includes oversight of key TIP internal and external platforms and telematics integrations, operating within a multi-cloud environment.

The position also includes monitoring compliance with frameworks such as NIST CSF, GDPR, and internal security policies; coordinating with technical, data, and business teams to remediate issues; maintaining documentation and audit evidence; and supporting TIP in maintaining a strong posture in cybersecurity

What You’ll Be Doing

✔️Lead IT audit activities and act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors
✔️Design and maintain the IT Internal Audit plan aligned with NIST/ISO frameworks

✔️Monitor IT systems and user activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and controls
✔️ Oversee execution of audits and certification processes (e.g., PCI-DSS) to ensure successful outcomes
✔️ Identify, assess, and manage risks across IT systems, digital platforms, and data environments

✔️Ensure compliance with data governance standards, including GDPR, data quality, and data lineage

✔️Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Data teams to address risks and improve processes
✔️ Prepare and present audit findings, KPIs, and risk reports to stakeholders and committees

What You’ll Bring

✔️5+ years of experience in IT audit, risk, or compliance roles
✔️ Strong understanding of IT environments, including cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
✔️Experience with IT control frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar

✔️Proven ability to identify, prevent, and remediate compliance and risk issues

✔️Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

✔️Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✔️Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

✔️Data analysis capability and ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
✔️ A proactive mindset and a sense of ownership in your work
✔️ A good sense of humour – we work hard, but we like a laugh too
