In this role, you will play a key position within an asset-intensive organisation operating across leasing, rental, and maintenance activities. You will translate complex operational data into clear financial insights and actionable improvement initiatives. Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Asset Management, and Supply Chain teams, you will help improve profitability, optimise costs, and support strategic growth.

You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer profitability, contract structures, vendor performance, and operational efficiency. In addition, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and contribute actively to the organisation’s broader transformation agenda.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the drive to turn insight into meaningful business results..

What You’ll Be Doing

✔️Drive profitability improvement initiatives across leasing, rental, and maintenance portfolios

✔️Analyse customer, location, and asset profitability to identify value creation opportunities

✔️ Build financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting that support commercial and operational decision-making

✔️Partner with Commercial teams to optimise pricing, renewals, and contract structures

✔️Lead deep-dive reviews into underperforming contracts and recommend turnaround actions

✔️Improve contribution margins through cost optimisation, labour efficiency, and cost recovery initiatives

✔️Support the development and performance management of the M&R vendor network

✔️Analyse maintenance and repair cost drivers, benchmarking vendor and operational performance

✔️Provide financial leadership for strategic transformation and productivity programmes

✔️Deliver clear financial insight and challenge senior stakeholders to drive accountability and results

What You’ll Bring

✔️Strong experience in commercial finance, business partnering, or operational finance

✔️Proven ability to improve profitability and drive measurable value creation

✔️Experience within leasing, logistics, fleet, industrial, manufacturing, or asset-intensive environments

✔️Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities

✔️Strong understanding of margin analysis, cost-to-serve, and contract profitability

✔️Ability to translate operational performance into actionable financial insights

✔️Experience influencing senior stakeholders across commercial and operational functions

✔️Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information

✔️A proactive, hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities

✔️Experience with maintenance & repair economics, vendor management, or asset lifecycle analysis is a strong advantage
